Factory Tours for House Builders and Developers
3rd December 2013
As our industry starts to enjoy the benefits of a long-awaited upturn, the Structural Timber Association (STA) has organised a series of free factory tours for house builders to learn more about this innovative build method.
The tours will introduce house builders to the benefits of building in structural timber, and demonstrate how switching to timber is the most effective way of capitalising on the current upturn in the housing market. Designed specifically for house builders and developers, delegates will see first-hand how timber responds to current construction needs, providing speed of build, flexibility of design and reliability.
Constructing with timber offers a stable and predictable building program and can reduce lead times by weeks, with reduced reliance on weather conditions and much less waste.
Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd are pleased to be working in tandem with the STA, opening its doors up to interested house builders and developers to promote the use of its products in the construction industry.
